Attorney Kate Bihm chose my photography studio in The Woodlands to create a series of portraits for the cover of Living Magazine's May 2023 issue.
Kate, who was formerly known as Katherine Shipman, is a well-known figure in Montgomery County. In 2016, she ran for judge of the 9th District Court, and although she wasn't successful in that bid, she has continued to make a name for herself as a talented criminal defense and family law lawyer.
After working as an assistant district attorney for three years, Kate realized that she had a strong desire to help individuals and to fill a need for a compassionate, talented criminal defense lawyer who values her clients' lives and desires to protect their futures. So, she opened her own firm in Conroe, and her practice has since grown to represent clients charged with all levels of offenses, from traffic tickets to murder, across numerous Texas counties.
Kate's dedication to her clients extends beyond criminal defense cases. She also provides compassionate, dedicated legal help with multiple types of family law cases, including representing spouses during divorce proceedings and helping parents address matters related to child custody and child support. She can assist with multiple types of complex divorce and family law issues, including helping business owners protect their interests during divorce, creating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, establishing paternity, and helping victims of domestic violence apply for orders of protection.
