Prom night, a momentous occasion in every high schooler's life, is a time for dressing up, letting loose, and creating unforgettable memories. At John Cooper School in The Woodlands, Texas, two students, Alena and Michael, eagerly awaited their senior prom dance with excitement and anticipation. Before the night's festivities began, they decided to capture the moment with a pre-prom photoshoot, showcasing their stunning outfits and infectious joy.
Feeling happy and handsome, these two juniors made some awesome memories at the John Cooper School winter formal, held at The Woodlands Resort. The John Cooper School did great job of making the event special for the students and their guests.

Audrey chose the perfect outfit, avoiding any reflective materials, distracting colors, and over the top jewelry. Her classic hair and makeup also helped to enhance her natural beauty and bring out her best features.
The white background works best for families with children, as their healthy skin and bright eyes are perfectly enhanced by the bright light bouncing around the room. Just add an elegant pose and voilà - a perfect portrait!

Sophomore Alaina Ohr performed in her first senior school musical after a debut in a play last fall. She has previously performed in Sewickley Academy’s middle school musicals and PAC. Alaina’s portrayal of a young mother-to-be is truly adorable.

Ella, a junior, has previously been part of the tech crew in countless high school, middle school, and lower school musicals. Ella also sings in the senior school choir, plays tennis inside and outside of school and writes poetry.

Ryan, a sophomore, performed in his first musical at Sewickley Academy after his debut in a Sewickley Academy’s fall play 12 Angry Jurors. This is Ryan’s 9th high school show, his favorites have been Children of Eden and Anastasia. Ryan sings everywhere he goes, and he also enjoys competing in robotics and teaching students throughout the community.

Sophomore Aekam Kaur performed in her first Senior School Musical after 4 Middle School productions at SA. Aekam also plays tennis and lacrosse.

Abby is a sophomore and this is her second senior school musical after a number of middle school theater productions. Abby is also an incredibly talented pianist and an accomplished tennis player.

Logan, a sophomore, takes part in every theater production at Sewickley Academy! His ability to transform into strikingly different characters and the way he moves on stage make him one of the most fascinating actors to watch on stage.

Sarah is a Sophomore and this is her fourth Senior School production as a lead dancer! She has also performed in Middle School musicals, as well as various shows with PAC.
When Ballet Technique Becomes Fine Portraiture
Camille’s studio session transformed the precision of ballet into sophisticated portraiture. Against a clean white background, beautifully controlled lighting and a classic black leotard placed all the attention on her expression, posture and extraordinary line. Created for ballet auditions, the session included both an elegant headshot and a technically precise Arabesque—two photographs designed to communicate both the dancer and her discipline.
