In my Woodlands studio, I captured an elegant winter engagement celebration with champagne toasts, refined styling, and timeless portraits designed to become lasting heirlooms.
A proposal captured in real time—this Woodlands studio session tells the story of the moment she said yes. With a dramatic black backdrop, professional lighting, and timeless styling, these portraits preserve love as it happened.
Happy 1st anniversary to beautiful bride and her handsome husband! Despite the chilly winter weather, these lovebirds wanted to bring a touch of spring to their anniversary portraits with vibrant flowers and bright colors.
Work created in Las Vegas, Nevada at a Photography Workshop run by the best portrait photographer in the industry and an incredible educator Jerry Ghionis.
Katie and Jake got engaged in 2020, and a year later they still hadn’t gotten their engagement photos done. When Katie’s sister Sarah learnt about their relocation to another city, she took the matters in her own hands and secretly plotted a photo session, having received the full support from Jake.
Spring and summer mini sessions in Pittsburgh’s North Park.
Patrice Carter wanted fun and intimate portraits with her fiancé. We were blessed with a warm sunny day on the lake shore. The newly engaged couple looked happy and very much in love. Just perfect conditions for a successful photo session!
Winter mini sessions.
Victoria booked a session for all her extended family but it was so cold that day that the rest of the siblings chickened out.
I always say that the brave and stoic get it all. Victoria’s session turned into a romantic shoot with her new husband who went along with any idea I came up with on how he could say “I love you” to his young bride in a silent photograph.
I wish all the happiness in the world to this sweet and beautiful couple.
Stacy and Dae have a special connection with Pittsburgh, so it was only natural that they came over to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
We spent an hour capturing their feelings for each other and the city vibes and colors and these were their favorite portraits from our session.
“Thank you they turned out really nice!” ~ Bushra H.
Bushra and Saad, congratulations on your wedding, and best wishes for a happy life together! It’s been an honor to capture your portraits. May the love and devotion you share today grow stronger every year.
“Our shoot was scheduled on a bit of a dreary day, and a few of our subjects just weren't feeling it. Karina was well prepared, upbeat, and she really listened and made the shoot fun. When she sent proofs, I was floored. So bright and happy! I wanted them all, but we ended up choosing about half. Excellent experience - thank you!!”

I love photographing extended family sessions as I strongly believe that grandparents play a huge role in the lives of their grandchildren.
“We really loved these photos and enjoyed working with you!” - Sarah T. and Erick O.
If your sweetheart makes you feel like dancing, marry them. The most enjoyable part of being a photographer is having a portrait session with people who openly and happily adore each other.
“Thank you for these beautiful pictures!”
- Olga S.
Olga and Dmitry had a private ceremony at the city magistrate. Olga looked stunning in her white dress and Dmitry was her handsome prince charming. I wish these two love birds a long and happy married life full of wisdom and love to overcome any storms together.
Classic and deeply symbolic, this black-and-white engagement portrait captures the moment love becomes forever. Photographed in-studio in The Woodlands, it’s timeless, refined, and emotionally resonant.
