The era of digital photography has opened so many possibilities of documenting the events as they come and capturing the fleeting moments. At the same time it robbed us from the time or will to select the images that matter most and make space for them in our daily lives.

When I was pregnant fifteen years ago, someone gave me a book called “Toddler Taming” by Christopher Green, and I distinctly remember reading a horror story about Terrible Twos. When my daughter was approaching the critical age of two, I was mentally bracing myself for the storm which actually never came. In my personal experience, the two year old children are angels, real pleasure to be with, let alone to photograph. Just give them space and be quick to click the shutter as they open up.
Family Album
This album contains portraits of a young family of three, celebrating their daughter Gulmira’s 2nd birthday. The proud parent brought balloons, a cake, a doll as birthday present and a few baby girls favorite toys.
The book is an 8”x8” square bound album, with seamless, panoramic pages on photographic paper. The album has a photographic cover front and back and comes in a display box with a photographic lid that can stand vertically on shelf as a piece of fine art in its own right.
