Audition Headshots for Todd
“I really like how professional the photos were and how the website was formatted!” ~ Todd
A 10-min fall mini-session, natural light only
I needed to do a 10-min fall mini-session photo challenge, natural light only, any place, any time. So I asked my favorite model in the world to pose for me in our backyard. It was raining really hard this week but there was a short window yesterday when we could go outside and do it. Love these impromptu moments.
Portraits of Ibrahim
Ibrahim performed as William Barfée at Sewickley Academy’s senior school musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”.
Ibrahim shines in every theater production and transforms seamlessly into his multifaceted roles: Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Pumbaa in The Lion King, and Jean Passepartout in Around the World in 80 Days.
Portraits of Luke
Luke was a Stage Manager in Sewickley Academy’s senior school musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”.
Luke had been doing tech theatre since 6th grade and the Spelling Bee as his 4th show as stage manager. Tech work is his special talent and countless shows and presentations would not have gone as smoothly without his input.
Portraits of Sarah
“Once again, you took some great pictures!” ~ Cindi G., Sarah’s mother
Portraits of Ella
Ella performed as Leaf's Mom and was also the show’s scenic designer at Sewickley Academy’s senior school musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. While this was her ninth Senior School production, she hadn’t acted since the 5th grade, and was usually backstage as an irreplaceable part of the tech crew.
Stay tuned for Ella’s studio portraits in her ice-skating costumes!
Portraits of Sajen
Sajen Schuchert performed as Carl Dad at Sewickley Academy’s senior school musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. He had enjoyed his musical theatre experience throughout his 11 years at the school. Sajen had managed to combine baseball and rehearsals during the spring and did really well in both.

~ Joe Jackson, Director of Theater Arts, Sewickley Academy
Portraits of Grace

Studio Portraits for Ella
“Thank you. I love them all! Tough choosing we will have to buy a few…“ - Melissa S., mother
Ella Sanfilippo is a junior at Sewickley Academy. She has taken on a stressful stage management role once again for the War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast play in the fall of 2020, her seventh Senior School production.
Lacrosse Fan
Lacrosse is Alena’s favorite sport. She fell in love with it last spring, right before the lockdown, and it was one of the things that kept her motivated to go outside, to use the new free time and to learn new skills. I’m really proud of what you've achieved in the past 12 months.
Alena and her photobombing dog
Our dog is a notorious photobomber. When he thinks my daughter and I have spent enough time in my studio, he just lies down in front of the camera and won’t budge. This is a rare occasion when I can actually photograph him in a still position, not running, jumping, barking, or chasing a chipmunk.
Kaila and Friends. Mission: Love Always
“Thank you so so much! I’m so happy.” - Khala W.
A photo session with friends... how cool is that? These images are just a small portion of both group and individual shots we did for Khala and her friends.
Alena’s Mini Session
“Could we do just a short session, one location and no outfit changes?” Sure! This shoot lasted 30 minutes. The key ingredients were a gorgeous girl and a magical September sunset that appeared from behind the tall trees and lasted just long enough for us to take these portraits.
